Alyasa (Elisha)
Named among the outstanding, and favored above the worlds
Alyasa appears in the Quran only within short lists naming him alongside other prophets, with no events, words, or people attached to his name at all. The Quran gives him a place of honor twice — among the outstanding, and among those favored above the worlds — and nothing more. This story keeps to exactly that: the two lines that exist, without inventing the narrative the Quran itself does not tell.
The Quran names him alongside two other prophets already met in this collection: remember Ismail, Alyasa, and Dhul-Kifl — all are among the outstanding. Elsewhere, in a wider list naming Ismail, Alyasa, Yunus, and Lut together, the Quran adds a single further honor: all of them We preferred over the worlds.
And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding.
And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds.
